Not A Hoax!

At least not in my humble opinion. For me like for almost any individual born after July 20th 1969, the Moon is nothing less than "reachable". Maybe that's why in those generations following the Moon landing so many leaders, innovators and creators are still reaching for far destinations around us, at least in a metaphorical way which in my opinion, has fueled not only the dreams but the reality of almost any innovation that mankind now enjoys.

Even the "miracle" of instant, global and for the most part free communication which we call Internet, is perhaps the "Moon" some engineer imagined to reach at one point or another in his life. We all have those missions in our souls and minds and we, like commander Armstrong said, constantly dream of that "giant leap" that us, our countries or mankind can take if we just stay focused and literally reaching for the stars.

I do believe. I believe that 40 years ago a fellow human being stepped foot for the first time on the surface of our mythical and only natural satellite. I do believe that we as a species had a giant leap back then, because since then some other huge steps have been taken in diverse and numerous fields... and many more are yet to come.

It's not a hoax and for me it's not only a man's or a countries achievement. It is as Neil A. Armstrong said "... one small step for (a) man, one giant leap for mankind".
